Here together are all eight of the individually released 2023 MFP LIVE: LIVE DUB MEDITATIONS as one 90 minute album (Vol. 1). This was always the intended format for these tunes. I composed these to be performed as a live, downtempo instrumental set. Each tune is a live stereo recording of a solo electronic hardware performance, with no overdubs, or edits.
As the title describes, Dub Meditations are exactly what this music is.
Any act or activity can be a meditation, and meditation can be wholly unique to each individual. This music is suitable for any number of different listening scenarios. Relaxing. Studying. Driving. Writing. Painting. Dancing. Late-night Romancing. Socializing. And on. May the sounds integrate and facilitate deeper connection to the inner and the outer, the self, the higher self, to one-ness and unity, to great beyond, to state beyond thought, beyond self, to the Earth and creation, to the Cosmos, the past, the future, and the Eternal Presence.
